Or we could equate it with what it is: a natural fear that is part of an animal's hardwired desire to want to continue to live!

If cats were people, they would be libertarian, and most of the libertarians I know are cat people.
I am sure golden retrievers would liberals/social democrats to greens and democratic socialists.
