Keep Those Puppies In Line!

A new survey by Crufts organisers, The Kennel Club, found that 83 percent of people polled said getting out with their dog is their only or main form of exercise.

The article citing this fact was not trying to sell gym memberships or running shoes -- it's trying to sell women tighter bras in order to fight off the "collie wobbles."

The Collie Wobbles?

Yes. Apparently dogs aren't the old puppies bouncing around the ring.

Selaine Saxby, the 38-year old owner of the sports bra company "LessBounce" said she saw a business opportunity while watching Crufts.

I've watched Crufts a couple of times and saw ladies with well-groomed dogs but who perhaps needed a bit of help themselves.

It was like Baywatch coming to Birmingham with all the bouncing bosoms and I actually wrote to the BBC who were screening it back then to suggest it should be on after the watershed.

I don't think women realise the serious problems they can get if they're not supported properly.

It can really hurt women and it's not something that can be fixed once the damage has been done.

I think a lot of ladies know it's an issue but maybe they can't be bothered thinking about it - I hope us being here will encourage them to go for it.

Women will perform better if they are comfortable and more balanced - I am sure the dog showers' skills will improve with them on."

Ms. Saxby notes that the average bra size in the U.K. has grown, in just ten years, from a 34B to 36C.

Yow! Is that due to "good breeding?"

Ugh ..... No. That's due to too many chips and second helpings.

Notes The Daily Mail in a very helpful article about the new doggy-sports bra:

Breasts are made of mostly fatty tissue with mammary glands and muscle, but because the muscle is so deep it cannot give much support.

Women can get repetitive trauma injuries brought on by constant movement and bouncing. It causes permanent stretching of ligaments resulting in drooping breasts and can affect women with smaller cleavages too.

Unsupported breasts can also lead to tension and strain in the upper back and neck.

So there it is. Order yours now. Perfect for really fat men as well!! Just ask for "The Bro" or the "Man-zire." And sorry the folks at Seinfeld will not let that clip slip on to Youtube -- I looked.
