What do other bloggers do when folks pop up to spray nonsense in the comments section?
These are the folks that come on to blogs to start fights, frequently never fully reading the post they are commenting on.
These are the folks who never bother to "use the Google," who have not bothered to go to the sources provided, and who think a blog is a debating society in which the ignorant, lazy, hazy and crazy have equal standing with everyone.
You know the type: the game they play is "say anything" with the idea that the blog writer (or writers) are supposed to spend the next 10 minutes or two hours responding to insult, nonsense, disinformation, ignorance, or intentionally created confusion.
You know what I do?
I delete these time wasters and kick them to the curb without apology.
And I will tell you why: because on my last day on earth, when I am fighting for every breath and begging for more time, I don't want to remember all the time I spent getting jerked around by trolls.
