Poor Man’s Go-Pro?

Yesterday, while kayaking, I had need of a GoPro because survival required full and active hands. 

Instead of ordering a $250-$500 Go-Pro camera, I ordered a head and chest mount for my iPhone. $24. 

Think it will do the job?  We’ll see. Obviously not for ski-jumps, but maybe OK for my limited needs and wants.
