A Change in Seasons Means Long Migrations

Wildlife all over the world migrates, from north to the south, up and down mountains and water columns, and even in vast circles around the oceans

We have birds in Alaska and northern Canada that migrate from Polar Bears to Lions -- and back again -- every year.

The map, above, shows a GPS-tracked Honey Buzzard's flight path as it flew from Finland to South Africa in a grueling 10,000 kilometer journey that lasted 42 days.

Honey Buzzards mostly eat wasps.
