In the UK, 230,00 Cats a Year Are Hit on the Road

According to British insurer Pet Plan 230,000 cats a year are run over on British roads -- 630 cats every day.

Maybe the RSPCA should obsess less about fox hunting, and start a campaign to keep cats inside. 

It would save hundreds of thousands of cats and a scores of million birds and small mammals.
