Was Seagram’s on the take from the U.S. Government or the nascent nuclear industry?
You can bet that it was. The military has even paid sports teams to "honor" the military at games, so putting down cash to rationalize the bomb that could end all civilization (a public relations problem of the first order) is certainly not out of line.
