I have now kayaked all of the Monocacy River at least once. On this solo trip: a 18 Osprey, 12 Bald Eagles, a Green Heron, a Tricolored Heron, a couple of Belted King Fishers, lots of Tree Swallows, 15 or more Blue Herons, 2 Great Crested Fly Catchers, a single Merganser, and 0 Canada Geese, 0 mallards, 0 Wood Ducks.
