Saved By Rice

I left my Nikon P90 camera hanging from a porch post overnight, and it rained on it for two hours before my wife found it. 

Ahhhhh! 

I dried the camera off and put it in a bowl filled with rice without trying to turn it on. After 24 hours, I opened the battery flap, took out the battery, and put the camera back in the bowl of rice for another 36 hours. 

Guess what? The camera fires up and works. A miracle!
