I’d say the dogs had all the holes covered that they could, but the groundhog climbed up inside a hollow tree about 15 feet away. I watched the groundhog come to the edge of the roots, see me, and then go UP! The dogs thought it must still be underground. They pulled out a big wad of plastic of some kind, and then bedding, and then realized it had bolted off somewhere. All good.

Covering Every Hole?
I’d say the dogs had all the holes covered that they could, but the groundhog climbed up inside a hollow tree about 15 feet away.
