Next Year's Day Lilies in the Ground

70 day lilies in the ground, and another 15 in pots to grow out a bit more and fill in blank spots in the spring.  A posthole digger is a very useful thing.

I ordered these from Gilbert H. Wild and Sons in Missouri, and was pleased with the product. They should have a month or two to grow out roots and a bit of top so I can mark their location with stakes. I planted them fairly close together; 12-18 inches apart in four small masses.

posthole diggers are great; we put up our entire 6 ft perimeter fence over a few acres with it!
