Coffee and Provocation

The Sick and Twisted Circle of Life
This parasitic worm invades a snail's eyes, imitates a caterpillar, and mind-controls its host into the open to be eaten by a bird. The worm breeds in the bird’s gut and releases eggs into its feces, which are then eaten by another snail.

A Dickless Brit?
Apparently yes, via way of New Zealand.  It seems a stick insect that came to the UK from New Zealand around 1900 has reproduced through asexual pathogenesis.

Trampling Down the Garden of Eden
Between 2001 and 2017, the lower 48 states lost more than 24 million acres to human development.

What I'm Drinking
I switched to Almond Milk some time back and I just bought a quart of Oat Milk to see what that tastes like.  Answer:  Oat Milk is fine, but still too expensive.  It will get cheaper.  The best price for Almond Milk is Aldi's: it's $1 a quart cheaper than at Wegman's.  On the coffee side, I switched from drinking entire POTS of (too much) coffee (because I hate waste) to drinking just one or two cups a day in the Keurig. The switch has been good for mental health and sleep.

What I'm Eating
I tried an "Impossible Burger" at Burger King and it was fine, but not quite as good as the regular beef burger, and more than twice the price.  It should be said, however, that two Whoppers for $6 is an amazing deal for a very good burger -- maybe best in class for price and quality.  The Impossible Burger will come down in price, and I think it will do well.

What I'm Listening To

What I'm Wearing

Factories Are NOT Coming Back From China
No Trump-branded product is made in the USA, and none of the stuff made in China is coming home to be made here.
