This outbuilding is from the circa 1875 home of Col. Henry Taylor Wickham of Hickory Hill, Ashland, Hanover County, Virginia (just outside Richmond) and shows his set up for hens, below, and pigeons above. A much larger version of the picture, taken in 1935, can be seen at Shorpy.

Don't know if it's still there. But, there is a huge barn near Carlisle, PA that once housed thousands of pigeons. You could tell by the many pigeon 'holes' in the side of the barn.
