Mango Is Living the Life

Back in January of 2016, I posted about the Litter in the Latrine that my niece rescued from certain death in the Dominican Republic. After pulling all the dogs out, she took in the least-likely to get adopted dog. Sadly, the other pups soon disappeared, the victims of disease, starvation, and vehicle impact, but my nieces dog, named Mango, is now back in the United States. This dog is very much a smooth lurcher, with a greyhound's build -- thin with impossibly long and straight legs. It's a truly lovely dog, and a welcome addition to the family pack. That's Darwin, my mother's rescued Jack Russell cross in back.
