10,669 visitors to the blog today. That's an abnormally high number. 3,000 to 4,000 is normal. Not sure why.

Was it in response to your post "As Long As I Am President"?
I suspect Google is playing with its Algorithms. They do that sometimes and I can see a spike or maybe even a small decline. Their trade secret!
My suspicion: internet bots programmed to disrupt the 2016 election (some of which may still be in place) targeted the title of your post that day.
