Drone, Drone on the Range

This is not a great African wildlife migration, but 2,000 merino ewes being driven across New Zealand's South Island by a drone. Farmer Brett Sanders has been using the drone to move sheep between pastures on his 29,000-acre farm (45 square miles) for the past 18 months."It's a stress free way of doing things, and saves time in the process," he says. An alarm-tone device is attached to the drone, and the drone's work is supported by Mr Sanders on his motorbike, with his dog. Mr. Sanders runs his sheep business with only one other employee.
