Imping D.C.'s Battered Snow Owl.
Superglue imping for battered Snow Owl. I get my super glue from Diagon Alley, aka the Dollar Store. For supergluing small wounds on dogs, see this old post.
University of Minnesota Raptor Center was founded by falconers and is world-renowned for their innovative raptor medicine. Founding Vet Falconer Pat Redig, DVM,PhD. is still teaching there. They developed orthopedic techniques we use now to heal the hollow broken bones on birds, nearly impossible before they developed the technique of an internal pin to allow the bone to grow and heal around it. Then the pin is removed once the bone is healed. If you ever get a chance to visit there, do so.
