Indians Had Bad Immigration Laws
On this day in 1924, Congress granted American Indians U. S. citizenship.
On May 28, just a few days earlier, Congress passed the Labor Appropriation Act of 1924, officially establishing the United States Border Patrol to keep foreigners out.
