I caught a TV show called "Oddities" recently, about a quirky antiques and other-stuff store. They have a lot of articulated skeletons and go into a bit of detail about how to go about doing it. I don't know that they have a platypus though! They showed some traps, too, but not the dreaded conibear. It's a series and kind of fun and definitely different.
