Welcome to Arizona
This mountain lion ran into a pack of hounds and, absent a tree, it went vertical on a 30-foot Saguaro cactus. News story here.
Interesting. Reminds me of something I heard many years ago. There was a public outcry to Disney's Living Desert footage of the bobcat that climbed the saquaro. Someone on the camera crew disclosed that some serious doctoring was needed to get the cat ambulatory once it climbed down. There was a bit of a stink when the press or a magazine put the word out.

Okay, what were these idiots complaining about? the fact that the cat needed some help with the thorns or that the crew injure the cactus?
That's gonna leave a mark!
