Dachshunds With Erections Can't Climb Stairs

As a general rule I don't like poetry, but I do like the titles of Les Barker's stuff:

• Up the Creek without a Poodle (1994)
  .
• The War on Terrier (2004)

These are variously described as "strange poems" and "strange poems by an English person."

The good news is that Barker has had the good sense to form a band with other people doing the singing, and they perform as "The Mrs. Ackroyd Band."

"Mrs. Ackroyd" is the name of Les Barker's dog (pictured at top and a terrier, of course).
