James Thurber on What a Cat Can See
"I am not a cat man, but a dog man, and all felines can tell this at a glance — a sharp, vindictive glance." . . . . -- James Thurber.
Been watching Keith Olbermann on Friday nights? I confess, I tried to like the Thurber segments, but they are not for me. Read some Thurber as a much younger person, and reading it to myself thought some was very funny. I've always loved the illustrations.
He does a "Friday Nights With Thurber" every Friday night as the last segment. When Olbermann's father was dying a few months ago, they enjoyed reading Thurber aloud. I don't feel it's translating well to his TV program.

No, have not been watching Olbermann, so do not know the Thurber reference.
