Randy Travis & Josh Turner :: King Of the Road
Randy Travis & Josh Turner do King Of the Road originally written and recorded by the late great Roger Miller. Great voices doing an American classic.
Despite Michael Stipe's mangling the lyrics, I like R.E.M.'s alcohol-fueled "King of the Road" (paired with their jingle for Athens landmark Walter's Barbecue) on Dead Letter Office.
Thanks, Patrick, I hadn't seen that video. The CD version is better, with a nice guitar solo by Peter Buck, who usually doesn't do the guitar-solo thing.
