Ha! I spent ages standing in front of the Naked Mole Rat exhibit at the National Zoo. I think they're hilarious looking creatures.

I, too, have watched them for hours. Kicking their little babies through the habitrail of life.
I'd keep a colony in a NY minute. Eusocial mammals? Boo-yeah!
