How many of us saw the movie “Born Free” in a movie theater? If you did, you’re past 60!
Born Free is the story of Elsa the lioness and her two siblings, who were orphaned at a few days old and scooped out of the Kenyan wild by George and Joy Adamson in 1956.
The book is the book, and the movie is the movie, but suffice it to say that what was going in here was already long understood by wild animal trainers, even if it was not named and was novel to the general public.
