Windbreak for the Coming Bee Hives

This is located out of sight, behind the shed, where there is a long clearing in the forest canopy. Fields start about 60 feet away, down hill from this location. There’s a water source about 100 yards away, but I’ll also be putting in a16-gallon water source for the bees right next to the hive.

While there are large trees all around, we can get powerful winds on the knoll, and this should help. The windbreak cloth (woven plastic) is porous, and is held rigid and up by two passes of rabbit wire, some old metal fence posts, and zip ties. It’s pretty sturdy.
