I went biking and birding today with the wee dogs, and WE SAW A COYOTE crossing the road right in front of us on Darnestown Rd just before Beallsville. I was driving, with six cars behind me, but I swung around at the intersection and saw him trot up over a rise in an old corn field before I could get a picture off. Big adult coyote, and I assume a male that was day-hunting to keep his 8-10 week old pups fed.
