Of pedigree unknown, Darwin came off a rescue van into my mother’s arms back in 2014. Yes, he came with the name and we’ve kept it.
My mother died just shy of her 89th birthday in July, and Darwin is now my much-loved and very well-behaved lap dog.
The first picture is Darwin’s rescue posting. The second picture is a very fat Darwin with my mom. He’s since lost all the excess weight.
