Table Scraps for the Dogs at Stonehenge

The Neolithic people who built Stonehenge 4,500 years ago left behind trash and body waste in the village of Durrington Walls, where they are believed to have lived while erecting the stone circle. Scientists have studied fossilized feces found in the dump, and have identified both human and canine poop with fish tapeworm and capillariid worm eggs probably picked up from undercooked beef and pork. Since the parasite eggs are found in both human and canine coprolites, it's believed humans shared their undercooked food with their dogs.
