A Big Carp Mishap

I went back to where I saw a lot of big carp last week, but all the carp I saw then are now dead. 

With high water, I think the carp entered the canal from the river, but when the river dropped they were trapped in shrinking water without enough oxygen, and a massive explosion of duckweed did not help things out.
