The Measurement Mess in Britain
Imperial measurements meets history, the EU, Brexit, and trade agreements. The combination is a bit of a mess.
And we haven’t even mentioned a “brace” of dogs.
How is “16 and and a half brace of hounds” simpler or easier to understand than saying “33 dogs”?
