Puppy Picture Found in the Files
This is my old rescue street mutt terrier Barney (with bandana) playing with Haddie, one of my Border Terrier puppies.
Picture is 37 years old, and I didn’t know I had it. Barney, below. A very smart dog.
Great photo! I'm guessing early 70's? I miss those old street mutt terrier mixes. They were the scruffy ones grabbed out of shelters and pounds and trained for the stage and screen, favored by trainers that specialized in that work. Super smart, biddable, hard working and photogenic as all get out. And very rarely pit mixes, which is pretty much all you'll find in most shelters these days sadly.
