Skirting some islands by kayak, I saw a large football of fur scurry off, and then a few paddle strokes on I saw a slide and some beaver destruction.
A little exploring found more beaver work on the interior of the small island. Groundhogs are active on this wee island too, and I raised a small doe as well.
