A California woman accused of starting the Fawn forest fire says she was boiling bear urine in order to drink it.
Alexandra Souverneva says she is a "shaman," which apparently is the latest catch-all term used by people suffering from mental illness. She has previously been arrested for drunk driving, drug possession, and criminal trespass, and is described as a "suspected" serial arsonist.
The Fawn fire burned over 8,600 acres, or 13,4 square miles of public lands, destroyed 185 residential and commercial structures and took 1,600 fire fighters to contain.
