Trans-border Forest Threats



More needs to be written about trans-border forest threats from insects and disease.  

Dutch Elm wiped out 25 percent of US east coast forests, and Ash Bore and Gypsy Moth have now been joined by Spotted Lantern Fly concerns.  

This sign was on a truck driven by folks surveying forest health in the mountains north of Frederick, Maryland.
