Information on working terriers, dogs, natural history, hunting, and the environment, with occasional political commentary as I see fit. This web log is associated with the Terrierman.com web site.
You might enjoy S.M. [Stephen Michael] Stirling's post-apocalyptic/alternate history/science fiction, in particular what fans call "Emberverse," starting with the Dies the Fire trilogy, followed by other volumes ad infinitum, that feature descendants of the original characters.
Successful protagonists are innovative, adaptive, and bright. Unsuccessful characters are quickly weeded out of the gene pool.
[Note, I was a long-time Heinlein fan, though his view on women haven't aged well.]
