Signs of 17-Year Cicada Emergence

17-year Cicada holes on a well-trod path, but not much evidence of cicadas yet. Saw my first one of the year on the kayak pull out ramp Friday. Cicadas will make these holes before emerging. We are a bit closer to the mountains, so perhaps 1-2 degrees cooler than just south of here, where they are emerging.
