Oppression generally stands behind the person who tells us that "violence is not the answer."
The person who tells us to support the troops who "fight for our freedom" is always a bit too eager to denounce those who seek to liberate us from racism, sexism, homophobia, and predatory capitalism.
The person who tells us they own guns to prevent "big government oppression" can always be counted on to support police protecting the property rights of the wealthy while simultaneously violating the human rights of the poor.
