Squirrels are Not Strictly Vegetarian
Yes, squirrels will eat baby birds. So too will deer, cows, horses, and chipmunks, to say nothing of crows.

Mama birds, such as robins, will attack squirrels who seem to spend too much time close to her nest. Talk about angry birds...--TEC
