Viking Shovels
I was watching the “Vikings” TV series last night (Season 3), and Ragnar Lothbrok was burying Æthelstan's with a modern stamped-metal shovel. Viking shovels were actually wood with a narrow lip-edge made of metal. A modern copy is being made below.
