3,000 Year-old Ivory Dog With Movable Parts

This amazing mechanical hunting dog was made from elephant ivory in Egypt between 1390–1353 B.C. This dog can be made to open and close its mouth using the lever beneath its chest. Originally secured by means of a thong tied through the hole in the back of its neck and two in the throat (perhaps it was a marionette puppet?) the lever was later attached with a metal dowel in the right shoulder. When the mouth is opened, two teeth and a red tongue are visible. At The Met in New York City.

Paddy you're gone quiet on the political front. Have you any report on the 'special' counsel. Seems like a total farce.

I'm just exhausted by Trump -- the racism, pointless drama, cowardice, theft, lies, gas lighting, treason.... Call me when folks are serious and carrying fire (REAL FIRE) to the White House, and I will march at the front ready to take the blows from those fascists in the police and military that try to thwart the will of the people.
