The Kennel Club (UK) has appointed Tony Allcock, a breeder and judge of Japanese Chins, as it’s new Chairman. Mr. Allcock's chief claim to fame is as a champion lawn-bowler.
The breed standard for the Japanese Chin in the UK, Canada, and the US calls for serious deformity and defect, including profound brachycephalia (smashed-in faces) and strabismus (eyes looking in two directions at once). The picture, below, is of a Japanese Chin skull.
