White Terrier Moon

Due to a conflux of errors, cold, battery failure, lack of tripod, and fatigue I flubbed the “Blood Wolf Moon” picture of the other night, but I took this picture this evening of this White Terrier Moon. Camera is an off-the-rack point and shoot Nikon P610 ($320 a couple of years ago), which has since been replaced by the Nikon B700.

The massive crater on the right is Tycho, named after the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546–1601) who may have died from politeness. The crater is estimated to be about 108 million years old.
