Pits given lots of work and qualified handlers do well.
Pits given no exercise, tied out, and no training, eat people every year on military bases.
Pits do not do well with young men and young families with unstable lives. This is true for all dogs, but it's more true with molosser breeds that were once butcher's dogs.
