"America hates bullies"? Riiiiiight, and that's why you voted one in office.... Come on, there is nothing that America loves more than bullies, provided of course that they are one of your own.
Actually, Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million people, which is the equal to ALL the votes cast in the states of Idaho, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana and Nebraska COMBINED -- an area holding 12% of all U.S. Senate seats, and an area of land 5.8 times larger than all of the U.K.
Sure, I know, but at this moment "but he lost the popular vote" sounds a bit weak don't you think? It took a lot of votes to put him where he is too....
And the NRA is obviously still calling the shots as far as gun legislation is concerned.
So yeah, I stand by my comment; proudly announcing that "America hates bullies" because some people are standing up against the current madness, is, in my opinion, still a rather optimistic characterization of your fellow countrymen.
I do wish those protesters good luck, and hope they achieve their goals. Believe me, I know nobody who doesn't think US gun laws are absurd.
