A Trophy Hunter

A "hunter" was shot dead at a canned lion hunt facility in South Africa.

The property where the killing took place breeds captive lions to be hunted as trophies in a 'sport' that has been widely condemned.

It is not clear how the accidental shooting occurred, but Croatian hotel-owner Pero Jelinic, age 75, had already killed one lion at the "ranch" and was aiming his gun at a second, when a shot rang out and he was dead.

"Sometimes things happen, and clients die" said Klaus Vanderhooeven, "but we waste nothing. Mr. Jelinic will be given a fully-body taxidermy mount, with the first lion displayed as if he had just killed the hunter in the brush. It should make for a magnificent display."

He was way past breeding age, so there are no problems with selectiviely depleting the gene pool.

Is the last paragraph (full body taxidermy mount) for real? Or are you just checking to see if anyone is paying attention?

Having a bit of fun and also insulting the dead who deserves to be insulted.
