Wisdom, a Laysan Albatross, was banded by Chandler Robbins of Laurel, Maryland on the Pacific atoll of Midway more than 66 years ago. Chandler is now 98, and Wisdom is still laying eggs and making babies! Because Abatross' don't begin laying eggs until they are at least age five, Wisdom is almost certainly older than 71, and she is believed to have flown over 3 million miles.
