Two men from Ontario, Oregon, who stole a car, ran away with a dog when police began to chase them. One fellow was quickly caught, but the other ran into the scrub and he decided to dive down a badger hole to avoid detection. Police eventually spotted his dog, which disappeared into a large badger hole and would not come out. After eventually snaring the dog, the police could hear a man screaming for help from within the same hole. Police found Gregory Morrow, 22, tuck about eight feet underground. He was feet-first in the hole, could not move, and was losing the feelings in his arm. Police pulled him free and arrested him.
