The sparrow was singing from the top of the pole holding up the blue bird house. Both pictures were taken from the same location using the point-and-shoot camera with the 60X lens. Just playing with it so I know how to actually use it. I took some pictures of deer in velvet and a rabbit the other evening, but at 9 pm the light was so low that the shutter speed slowed down and things got blurry in handheld mode when zoomed. I'm Learning!
