When 91-year-old Peggy Hartman died, her friend of 50 years, Margaret Seaman, ordered a flower arrangement that was supposed to be in the shape of a Jack Russell terrier -- a personal love of Peggy's. But when the flowers arrived, the pall bearers could not stop laughing, as the flower arrangement had split up in transport, and now had five legs and a weird snout. The florist had photographic evidence that the arrangement looked fine when it left the shop, but nonetheless agreed to donate the cost to the Battersea Dog's Home. World War III averted.
